Dr. Nils Morgenthaler

Dr. Nils Morgenthaler

About Dr. Nils Morgenthaler

Dr. Nils Morgenthaler studied medicine at the University of Ulm and wrote his academic thesis in endocrinology. He completed his training at the university hospitals of Ulm and Leipzig, and at King’s College Hospital in London, specializing in internal medicine.
He left clinical medicine in 1997 to work for BRAHMS GmbH and played a key role in bringing novel in vitro diagnostic assays from bench to bedside, including TSH-receptor autoantibodies, Procalcitonin and Copeptin. After getting an executive MBA from the University of Potsdam, he became General Manager for GILUPI GmbH, and subsequently, Vice President for Clinical Business Development at BRUKER Daltonics in Bremen. He joined InVivo Biotech Services as General Manager in 2017.
Dr. Morgenthaler has more than 20 years of management experience in the diagnostic industry, and a long track record of research collaborations, with over 200 scientific publications covering the fields of endocrinology/diabetes, infectious diseases/sepsis, cardiology and oncology.

About Jennifer Suhr

Jennifer completed her Master studies in 2004 as a biologist at the Humboldt University in Berlin with a focus on microbiology and molecular biology. After graduation, she worked in areas of cell culture, molecular biology and assay development. At Immunochemical Intelligence GmbH (ICI), she headed the “Production” department for seven years and then the “Quality Control” department with a focus on immunoassays. After the merger of ICI with InVivo BioTech Services GmbH in 2016, she took over the management of the Berlin production site. Since May 2019, she heads the department of “Kits & Consumables” and was promoted to General Manager in August 2024.

About Caterina Farnleitner

Caterina holds a Master´s degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry and Protein production. Caterina has proudly represented InVivo’s Marketing and Business Development department for more than 10 years. She managed acquisitions, contributed to market outreach and optimized internal functions. 2019 onwards, she absorbs process control responsibilities in Antibody and Protein production while continuing as the chief consult for expanding InVivo’s business internationally.

About Dr. Tim Welsink
Tim’s academic background is the field of biochemistry. He studied at Freie Universität Berlin and Michigan State University and obtained a diploma degree in biochemistry. During his doctoral research in developing novel autoimmune assays at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, he experienced the value of industrial contribution in academia. He joined InVivo in 2014 as head of the Molecular Biology department focusing on expression and purification of recombinant proteins, including recombinant antibodies.

About Dr. Moath Al-Mekhlafi

Moath holds a PhD in Immunology from the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden, Germany and a Global Executive Master of Business Administration from HHL University in Leipzig, Germany and EADA University in Barcelona, Spain. He has 12 years of experience in immunology research and more than 8 years of experience in business development in various global life science companies.

Moath joined InVivo in 2022 and is responsible for Customer Service, Sales & BD and Marketing. Moreover, he is responsible for distributor management and licensing as well as the cooperation strategy with internal and external business partners.

Dr. Julia Knospe

About Dr. Julia Knospe

Julia completed her studies in 2010 as a biologist at the Freie Universität Berlin with a focus on genetics and molecular biology. During her doctoral thesis at the Max-Planck-Institute for molecular genetics she worked with DNA-encoded chemical libraries. She joined InVivo in 2015 and has worked both in the R&D Department and in Sales & Customer Service. In her present role as employee of Customer Service and Sales team, Julia is in-charge of key customers and new acquisitions in the DACH Region. Apart from customers, she also handles an umbrella of responsibilities under marketing as well as internal processes.

About Caren Wienkenhöver

Caren received her master’s degree in biology from the University of Duesseldorf. Afterwards, she spent 3 years at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research, working in-depth on protein modification and large-scale recombinant protein production.

In 2022, Caren joined InVivo as a Key Account Manager and has since been responsible for key customers from North and Sount America, Great Britain and the Nordic Region.

About Haijie Li

Haijie holds a Master of Science in Nutritional Science from Potsdam University focusing on fundamental molecular research on nutrition in living organisms. She has over seven years of experience working as an Account Manager and Business Development in the life science sector. She has worked with industry leaders, international NGOs, and government bodies, where she gained a broad perspective on global industry trends and cross-sector collaboration. In her current role, she explores new business opportunities in the market and serves mainly European clients and partially from the USA and Asia. 

Sandra Dittmann

About Sandra Dittmann

Sandra acquired a Diploma in Biotech Engineering as well as her Masters of Science in Drug Development from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany and Strasbourg (France). She spent close to 9 months in Ipswich, USA as a part of her Diploma Thesis and holds additional experience of close to 6 years in laboratory research. She joined InVivo in 2019 to support a growing base of customers in the DACH and North American Region. In addition to being a key member of the Customer Service team, she is in-charge of InVivo’s social media engagement and represents the team in networking events.

About Janina Vincenz

Janina holds a Master of Science degree from the Humboldt University of Berlin with a specialization in the field of virology. Her career has focused on international standards that specify requirements for a quality management system and FDA regulations for in vitro diagnostics and medical devices. Janina has quality management experience in the biotechnology industry for more than 10 years. She joined InVivo BioTech Services GmbH in 2016 as the head of the quality management department. She ensures the compliance with regulations of products and services that meet the needs of the customer and the requirements of the organization.

Marco Ziedorn-Rellecke

Marco Ziedorn-Rellecke

About Marco Ziedorn-Rellecke

Marco completed his training as a chemical-biological technical assistant at the Lette Verein in Berlin in 2007. He then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. He joined InVivo in 2018 and started as a production member in the Operations department at the Berlin site. In 2023, he took over as team leader for the Procurement & Logistic department.
